Annie and Grace need to change into some summer clothes...no need for sweatshirts here in SaddleBrooke! What? Bare arms and legs? Fresh air? No heavy clothes?
Grace decides that it's time for a snooze...all this sunshine and fresh air makes a girl a little sleepy!
Annie, on the other hand, is game for a little pool action...
But all the excitement is a little much for her as well....she decides to rest up for the next adventure! Aren't vacations wonderful?
Stay tuned for the next episode of Grace and Annie's incredible journey!

Grace and Annie's Incredible Journey...the first step!
After hearing stories about the good life in SaddleBrooke, Grace and Annie are excited to take their first big trip to the desert!
Now, the packing begins! How many bottles do we really need to take along?
Finally, mom and dad are ready to go!
Becca, babies and bottles all need to clear security...
Dinner at Gate G19 is different from dinner at home!
Mom and Dad need dinner too, and a margarita for added strength...
At last! We're on the plane!
Thank goodness for a flight that's not full!
Grandpa meets us at the airport! What time is it? Our plane landed at midnight! When can we go to the pool?
Stay tuned for the Arizona adventures of Annie and Grace...where did you pack the sunscreen?

From Shorts to Long Johns!
When John and Barbara arrived in Tucson, they were ready for the desert! John looked forward to playing golf, which he did; and he looked forward to breaking out his summer shorts, which he did!
Barbara looked forward to loading up on baubles at the Tucson Gem Show, which she did; and she looked forward to spending a little down time on the couch, which she did!
Dick, on the other hand, had plans for showing off the desert to our Minnesota friends. The Saguaro National Park offered a little of everything...history, geography, art, hiking and photography.
Barbara wisely chose to snuggle up with the fellow to the left - rather than that tall, prickly green guy to the right!
We studied the ancient petroglyphs, hoping to discover information about the prehistoric people and their world,
and in the end, returned home for food, fuel and clean up!
John was able to play another round of golf before packing up his clubs, but he didn't need his summer shorts for that round. He was the hottest (or at least the warmest) fellow of the foursome, because John remembered to bring along his long johns!
Gearing up for their return flight, and dressing up for their return to Minnesota, John and Barbara bid us farewell at the airport. We shared a few days of Arizona sunshine, and now we're enjoying what they left behind!
